Shrewsbury soon got the game underway and shown the away side high pressure, making the first shot of the game in the 12th minute only for it to land safely in the keeper’s arms. For the first 45 both teams managed to get their own chances, but none of them made it to the back of the net. Half time soon came with only three minutes added time and both teams were level on a 0-0 score.

Home and away fans were riled up for the second half. Bristol rovers fired the game back up again.

Many fans weren’t impressed with the referee (tom reeves) and the decisions that were made. During the 52nd minute Daniel Udoh came down in the box. Many fans hoped for a penalty but it wasn’t enough for the referee.

Both sides continued to push forward and create chances. In the 73rd minute the away side got lucky and managed to reach the back of the net making the score 1-0.

During an announcement of injury time, Bristol Rovers managed to up the score again. Striker Aaron Collins scored for the visitors making it 2-0.

Soon enough the final whistle came and Bristol Rovers went home with the full three points.
